Make your research visible
VBN - Aalborg University's Research Portal is highly ranked in search engines. A well-maintained VBN researcher profile will make you and your work stand out, when someone searches for your name. If your work is well-described in keywords, abstracts, teaching presentation etc., your name will appear whenever someone searches for your field of research.
At Aalborg University it is mandatory to register your publications. You should also register your memberships.
However, in order to increase your visibility and strengthen your profile, we highly recommend that you continuously register all relevant parts of your work to present the full range of your profile, e.g. projects, editorial work, datasets etc.
From the guides below, you can easily lean how to register different types of content. The system used for all types of research registration is called Pure. Pure is the system behind Aalborg University's Research Portal - VBN. Thus whatever you want to be displayed in VBN must be registered in Pure.
When you add an internal colleague to your registration they will be notified through the Pure system. External colleagues will not, but they will appear on your map of collaborators.
