Researchers from Aalborg University can register research output in Pure for display and dissemination via Aalborg University's Research Portal, VBN. Among other things, you can see the download statistics, usage, and citations of your work displayed in the portal.

Your research is disseminated through Aalborg University's Research Portal, VBN, once it has been registered in the university's research registration system Pure. Registration of research publications in Pure is mandatory at Aalborg University. Deadline is by the end of the year.

However, it is possible to register much more than publications, and we recommend that you do. This can strengthen your researcher profile and communicate different aspects of your work, such as teaching, administrative tasks, editorial work etc.

It is recommended that as much information as possible is added to the output entries to further the presentation of research, as well as to meet the university’s standards regarding quality assurance and validation.

Read more about the different output types here and explore further options at the bottom of this page.
